Festival of books

 

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is the largest book festival in the country. Over 150,000 people descend upon the USC campus in downtown Los Angeles during the third weekend in April to meet authors, hear live music, attend poetry readings, and screen new films.  As the biggest event in the L.A. Times Event portfolio, the marketing involves a full 360º campaign. Spanning from traditional print advertisements to digital platforms, from web design to social media engagement, and from television promotions to outdoor advertising, the scope of responsibilities is comprehensive. Working closely with talented illustrators to shape the theme, collaborating with site supervisors and the Times events team, my role as art director is elevating each year's experience beyond the last.
